Thanks for the info J. Lucas.
But if its anything like the book its not "Jimi's Own Story" it's Douglarse so radicallly hacking to bits Jimi's words to fit the arse's agenda that they no longer bear any resemblance to what Hendrix originally said, or just making it up as he goes along!!
Sadly WCSB does the same. Ive never heard or seen half the stuff the guy spouts in that form. Pathetic!

Watch the Netflix documentary on Robert Johnson, creating appalling myths without any basis in history, this is how business is done these (?) days

According to Douglas, Hendrix could not keep time. That was also one of his main reasons for replacing Mitch in Noel. I just came accross this video explaining Hendrix and playing in time, very interesting!

Funny, the versions of songs he uses as examples play too fast...so much for keeping time, lol.

Twas clearly nothing more than a cash excersize (he and his co-conspirators made hugely more than anyone, maybe even than Janie co!! ) and self aggrandisement claiming co-composer credits - "I'm Hendrix' producer (produced fuck all of worth wen he was alive), and I co wrote some tunes coz he wasn't good enuf!!"
A disgraceful wretch all round. A horrible blot on Hendrix' legacy.
And the zero book is a totally disgusting travesty with no saving graces. An abomination
Janie co's digraceful copy of zero treatment video is the worst thing they've ever done, and who ever did the dreary pathetic - "poor little jimi" - voiceover should hang his head in shame.
